It will all depend on UF , Tenn and A&M . All 3 should be better next year but likely will need 2 years to get to the top.

This is a bad year for the SEC in bowl games . There was a lot coaching changes .

Like when we lost Moreno, and Gurley, yawn. Yes I believe there will be zero drop off moving in from Chubb and Michel. They are DGD but pumping out awesome backs is kind of what UGA does. Sort of like LSU with corners for a while.

Everyone keeps talking about how much UGA is losing. There is really only one person who is truly irreplaceable and that's R Smith. Parrish? GTFO Sanders? You were good at ball hawking but there's a bunch of 5 star talent behind you and you were a 3? Chubb and Michell? See what happens after every great UGA rb leaves. We replace them with another. Kirby is the best recruiter in America. He has done what so many people are afraid would happen and locked down GA and continued to raid AL, LA, FL, NC, and TN like a pantry. He has shown at UGA if you are ready you will play, even as a freshman, even if the guy in front of you was a 5 star. It's a brilliant move.

So your real educated and studied the returners etc..? And obviously you see that we focused on recruiting stars and didn’t sign the best WR class who should start day 1. K. Love how fan bases KNOW sooo much about other teams.

State loses like 4 guys this year. Return 18. Signed 3 awesome WR in Guidry, Jason, and Heath. Had 2-3 defensive studs redshirt for academic reasons when transfered from Juco in Chauncey Rivers etc.. Man they are gonna suck and return to nothing again. Oh no we suck again.

We should be pre seasoned top 10 but will never get the respect. Cool by me.

Mcelwain's recruiting was garbage and you didn't pull
a top 20 class this year.I'd say 4 wins is about right.

At least 3 years away and Mullen needs to pull a top 5
class next year.

Basic math idiot. The more top 100 and 4 and 5 star players on the roster the better your odds are of winning.

We'll have close to 65 blue chips on the roster next
year.How bout yourself?

If you think you'll magically turn it around in year 2
like Kirby,Saban or Urban you're delusional.

Zook and Muschamp were far better recruiters and left far more talent than the hot mess you had on the sideline last year.

Dude. Do some research! You really don't have any idea at all what you are talking about, but, yeah, we want to hear all about what you don't know.

Where did Nick Marshall go?
Wasn't it Auburn that had all the Spice problems when Chizik was there? Talk about drug problems.

Mac did suck. Doesn't mean it can't be turned around rather quickly. UF loses very little. Has a top tier QB coming in with one of the best QB developers in the country. Fix the QB situation, you fix Florida. All that was missing most years.

As for you're thinking UF stays at 4 wins. Lifetime ban bet? UF wins at least 8. Down? Be nice to have one less band wagon dog on here.

Don't put Kirby with Saban and Urban. He isn't either. Hasn't done shite yet. Win a title, then you can start talking him up with the top tier coaches.

All he did this year was take Richt's loaded defense and RB's and not lose in the worst East since the division started. Then beat a team that blew him out.

Isn't either yet.

it's harder to win quick if you are left with a lot of talent. Did Mac leave a strong roster behind?

Seen our schedule for next year? By far, toughest in the SEC. If coach O can squeeze out 9 wins with that slate, a new QB and backfield, maybe the yaw yaw and boat captain shite will stop.

UGA fans: Hey man, losing two 1,000 yard backs, 9 starters on our defense, our best receiver and our best blocking tight end -- no drop off, man. Gonna be the exact same, this doesn't even reload.

UGA fans on Florida: You only return 18/20 starters on offense and defense with a much better staff and you're gonna suck because McElwain was a poor recruiter -- don't expect to be a sliver better with basically your entire first string returning.

ehh, we still have Nauta.

To be fair, you don't know what the QB yall have coming will do, just like we don't. He could come in and be another felipe franks for all y'all know. I doubt it, but there is a chance. The 18/20 starters coming back were from a 4 win team. Y'all may get more than 4 wins, but 8 is pushing it.

Swift is not Chubb, Holyfield is not Michel. They have years of practice and are veterans. There is a huge difference between being a back up and a premier back.

The problem is there's no feature receiver. Maybe Godwin, Ridley? That's half of your production at that position, and if they can shut down your WRs, it'll be a lot harder for your backs and TEs to actually make plays out of the backfield.

Double tight end look won't be the same.

Not really to a lot of that.

First and foremost: We had over 23 players suspended or injured over the course of the year. We had no backups at linebacker, we had a CB playing safety, we had one scholarship quarterback on the depth chart, we lost our #1 and #2 RB, our #1, #2, #3 WR.

Our WRs are going to be remarkably better, all of our RBs are coming back and we're finally adding depth to the Oline.

Our defense will at least have scholarship backups, we have enough depth at safety and the only real question mark lies at DT and LB, which I'm confident we'll fill. They're coming back, and they will absolutely be better.

Exactly, Swift is Michel, and Holyfield is Chubb.

Holyfield is a bruiser back, like Chubb.

Swift is a Diverse back, like Michel.

ETA: Our backups run like premier backs.

Godwin has been coming on this year. Ridley will get his touches next year, and Hardman will be better next year.

Richt lost control of UF

That may be the case, but they still have to have a QB deliver the ball to them.

Takes more than a year.

Charlotte why do you care so much about UGA next year? I think I can name two players on OU's team and I have no idea if they are seniors. No disrespect, I just don't care about a Big 12 team enough to look.

And UGA will take a step back at first on D next year but we only have one challenge in the first five games. That is a SC team that is losing a ton on defense too.

We lose 5, maybe six starters on defense. Smith, Bellamy, Carter, Davis, Sanders and Atkins if you count him as a starter. It is also possible that Baker leaves.
