I know it's just UGA but I hear Florida fans take this game kinda seriously.

Jon Gruden at a real program like Arky would be pretty scary.

Both teams take this game very seriously.

If he leaves or is fired, hopefully they have Scott Frost signed, sealed and ready to go

He might leave for Nebraska or somewhere, but won't get fired.

Hell fricking no. Haven't we learned enough taking coaches without HC experience? UF is not the place to learn on the fricking job. The next coach needs to have EXPERIENCE as a head coach. Not some upstart new guy that has no clue what it's like to coach a team like UF.

Charley Strong or Lane Kiffin are the 2 guys we should target. Stop the bullshite on guys who haven't been there, done that.

Oh so take Lane "left at the airport" Kiffin??
Every team who has hired him has regretted it. Pro and College.

Comprehend much??? 1 year in the American conference is not HC experience. Neither was McElwain's stint in Colorado St. Just like Zook and Muschamp, UF is not the fricking place to learn. We need someone with several years under the belt, who has had to deal with big boy football. Someone that knows all the rigors of being a coach at a school like UF. McElwain is a deer in headlights, just like Zook, Muschamp and Frost would be. PASS.

Kiffin had to learn from his mistakes. UT, USC and then working under Saban has sharpened him as a coach. I initially didn't want to consider him but the guy is a genius, like it or not. He has extensive experience as a HC and know's how to coach guys up for the next level. His teams got better at the end of the season than in the beginning which is a big deal.

Kiffin knows Florida recruiting and has ties to UF albeit with his divorced wife. I don't think we could go wrong with him or Strong. Not sure who else would be as good as a fit.

Like I mentioned. Frost does not have enough experience. Why would you ever gamble on the most important position at the university? We need a HC with extensive experience as a WINNER. I like Gundy but he's been coaching at OSU for a dozen years and won the B12 just once. He bleeds OSU but at least he has experience, which is a must. I doubt Fuente would leave VaTech after just 1 year. He has too much invested and should have a good team returning next year.

In just 1 year, Kiffin has turned around a losing FAU team that will most likely win the conference. It's a remarkable turn around. His offenses is clicking after he made several adjustments and it is putting up Playstation like numbers right now. That's what we need at UF.

Plus Kiffin would have extra incentive to win the SEC and beat teams like UT and Bama. You can't put a price on motivation. I bet Arkansas is going to go after him but UF should look to make a move while he has a good grasp on Florida recruiting. Kiffin at Arkansas would be a homerun hire.
