We shall see. It will either die or it will escalate.
The polarization in this country is at its highest in decades.

Saban wins the natty this year and retires to his lake house in Georgia

This story isn’t on any national outlet. It will die by tomorrow, not that it’s really “alive” now. No one cares about the feelings of Tuskegee’s football coach

How about this. Sue him for the comments he made and then prove they were false.
I agree that this is ridiculous, but it's BS logic to suggest they must sue. 1) how do you prove something didn't happen? 2) if Saban is going to levy accusations, it's incumbent upon him to provide a little evidence...at least it ought to be.
Does everyone just get to accuse others of cheating, provide no evidence, and have the NCAA investigate?
Cool. Brian Kelly paid players to grind on him.

So the basis for this shakedown is that Mr. Ruffin’s feels were hurt?
Not at all. I think he see's a opportunity to use race to shakedown Alabama for money and in today's climate would anyone be surprised it it worked?

In the current era the media drives the narrative. You and I both agree that is bullshite but the media is preaching to the stupid and woke...in this country there is a shiteton of both.
They try, but in the end you still get Let's Go Brandon.
The mainstream media really has very little credibility left on these things. You can't fool people forever.

Buy them off for what? They have absolutely no leverage here. Saban says Jackson St paid a player a million dollars (they did) and now Alabama has to play every HBCU in their state a d pay them money for something he didn’t say about them? Any staff attorney at Alabama would laugh at that proposition
If you think they intend to take this court you are way off base. If they pursue this they will conduct this in the court of political opinion. Guess who wins that? Not the 70 year old white man. Its a shame the world has come to this point but yet we are here.

They’re asking for rolling payments of 1.5 million

You act like every black person who has screamed racism out of thin air has received a severance package.

When people are claiming things are racist simply for a benefit and other such things, when it's not really racism, it does damage to any true claims.
It should piss everyone off.

I'm referring to the accusation that Jackson State paid for a recruit.

Saban would be the first to be a virtue signaler. But I'm on his side with this. That coach's idea of guaranteed payout is nothing short of race-baited extortion. $1.5 mil per game to travel from Tuskeegee/Montgomery/Huntsville to Tuscaloosa?
Back to seriousness... the only in-state school bammer will EVER agree to play is Auburn. It's 'beneath" them.

I'm guessing if some clown called and tried to tell Saban he needs to do that, Saban would assume it's a prank due to the ridiculousness of it and just hang the phone up. And then tell his assistant to block the number. I probably would.

He doesn’t have to get on his knees.
He’s short enough to do it standing up.
