I haven't done a deep dive on OU, but from an outsider's perspective they've gone from a HC in Riley focused entirely on offense to a HC in Venables focused entirely on defense. It's easy to focus on your comfort zone and neglect the other side of the ball to an extent. It seems that the OL is a mess and Arnold has been a bust so far. That should never be the case at a program of OU's stature.

It is their new normal. Snakey will make sure of that, as a favor to his beloved horns. Or don’t think it is a coincidence the schedules came out the way they did?

Wow......one single, solitary poster on tRant who has paid attention in class. A new record!

The schedules will balance out next year. Not everything is a Texas conspiracy. It comes down to coaching. OU has been struggling on offense all year.

The schedules will not balance out. You used to complain about Bama getting preference. Guess who is the new Bama with Snakey in charge.

You got your first taste this weekend

How was that exactly? By getting their asses beat by UGA? A team that doesn't appear on A&M's schedule, by the way. Neither does Alabama. Neither does Tennessee. Did A&M also receive favorable treatment? Y'all have been focused on big bad Texas for so long rather than getting your own house in order. Maybe focus on that instead.

The Aggie and Horn dynamic is really something else.
