After all the schandal/accusations have seeped out of the AU woodwork in the past 6 months, will the NCAA feel like AU harbors an environment of compliance to NCAA rules and regulations?
Many of the very same men that were running the show during your last run in with the NCAA are still in place at AU - so have things ever really changed?
I guess we'll just all have the wait and see...

I think it would be more credible if it were a Texas kid like Shep or Tolliver that Lyles was trying to get involved with. How does a Texas scout/street agent have enough contact with a Florida kid to "represent" him? What was Lyles doing when PP7 visited Miami, FSU, Florida and LSU? Did Lyles ever accompany PP7 on a recruiting trip? Did Lyles drive PP7 around the country on unofficial visits like Nelson has done for Auburn? Where is the link between Lyles (in Texas) and the family of PP7 (in Florida)? Where is the link showing PP7 was involved with Lyles throughout his entire recruiting process? Just because Lyles knew PP7 from the camp circuit does not mean he had the family's blessing to run his recruitment. Maybe Lyles had such a comfort level with A&M that he thought he could get the money even if he couldn't deliver PP7 to their program. What was A&M going to do...ask for the money back?

there's nothing there....there never will be. The barners are just trying everything they can to deflect some of the attention away from their shithole of a program.

Do you guys realize who is behind all of these Will Lyles articles along with the street agent articles and such targeting LSU, Auburn and Oregon (and to a lesser extent A&M)?

The funny thing is, Frank Denhuis and other large Texas boosters are the worst offenders of paying players. Denhuis sends players through banks with checks made out to cash.
This goes beyond Football too.... Texas has the Findlay Prep Basketball team on payroll by paying for thier room and board at Findlay Prep.
I'm not saying Texas deals with Lyles. I believe they don't anymore, although they have in the past. I think Texas realizes that people like Lyles hurts Texas more than it helps them, so therefore, all of the sudden, they realize its bad for Texas, and they want them gone.

No..... your university just handed out not two months ago $6000 for a DVD to the Willie "da Agent" Lyles. Ya know the guy that is already under investigation for funneling players to college programs.

Maybe the arse whoopin we put on Miami in Dec of '06 followed by the their program going in the shitter with a losing season in '07 had something to do with his switch from Miami to LSU. I'm sure our '07 championship team didn't hurt either...
