like what? where are we going to go? independent?

well it would either have to be Big 12 or as part of some kind of a larger realignment

I was never in the band. That was just a poor attempt at being clever on Bernie's part.

The only point I'm chasing is this:

LSU has a very big fanbase. I'm sure some fans are unhappy and would like to explore new pastures, but it's probably a VAST minority.

After all, there are 'a lot' of Southerners who would sincerely like to secede from the U.S.; 10,000 people is, after all, a lot of people.

It's still an overwhelming minority though.

LSU isn't going anywhere.

Now Arky... They can go if they want to. :coco2:

I know... And being the wet blanket I am, I was trying to undercut the discussion at its core.

LSU would be an awkward fit anywhere else and everyone knows it.

Y'all are weird about football, but here in the SEC, your weirdness about football (and drinking (and food)) are institutions.

Texas and Oklahoma would have a rough time adjusting to you, especially once you started hanging 50 on them.

i am very open for LSU to move to the ACC. i woul consider the big 12 but i'm fine with the ACC. i really do not like what i see in the SEC right now. slive seems to have snuggled up to certain schools and is playing favoritism. maybe he wants bama to be the tejas o the SEC. well, frick him. we don't need the SEC and the ACC has lots of bball money and we would be a very good fit. hell, the way this 8 game schedule works, we won'tsee many teams for a decade anyway. i love the way the SEC worked before expansion and before slive took over. it's really starting to suck for me now and i think LSU should do their due dilegence and explore other avenues. let bama run the conference. let birmingham and the bama grads have that shite office and control whatthey fricking want.

You do understand the OP is trolling, don't you?

What's hilarious is all the "not a rival" gumps taking this shite seriously. LSU is your competition
Son....and we will knock your asses back to reality soon enough.

We just would appreciate everyone else in the SEC to step up

Understanding that you only have 2-3 big games to get up for

LSU GrandDad

Don't look now Gramps, but DS was half-trolling with his OP, trying to stir up a discussion about the relative merits of LSU staying or going.

Even he doesn't really want LSU to go, nor does he believe they ever will.

Congratulations, though. In my sampling of 'a lot' of LSU fans, you represent the 'a lot,' while virtually every other LSU poster in this thread represents 'the reality.'
