Success being a team vying for 3rd place, even 2nd in the East year in and year out. Mix in an occasional Pinkel special and a SECCG appearance here and there.

Failure being .500 in the five years hes going to be here for sure. Listen the first two years are lost with the BS NCAA ruling and recruits of Barrys leaving ship.

Also hearing Matt Luke likely to accept the position of offensive line coach at Mizzou.

Edit: Down vote are a vote for success.

Matt Luke has registered for Spring classes at Ole Miss and will be an unpaid Graduate Asst. in Oxford, because he loves Ole Miss that much.

Failure . UF and Georgia are clearly the top 2 teams in the east now. That means 3 is about the best he could do . Kentucky just got a stud QB and have been for lately, Tennessee is getting better and USCe will have more talent and could get a real head coach soon. He is be .500 in conference play maybe worse.

And the Gus coaching tree begins in the SEC. Years that Mizzou plays weak West team they will be good. Think he will do ok there

Failure

Mizzou fans have filet mignon championship expectations but donate at a ground chuck hamburger helper level.

The A.D. had to take a risk to try to get a shot of energy into the fan base. Odom was duller than dirty dish water. The fans tuned out.

Mizzou fans have no expectations which is why they dont go to games if the teams arent good. what fricking world do you live in?

Their AD said he wants to be a top 25 program. considering there is no real difference between #20 and #40 every year. thats easily doable at mizzou. he may fail but it wont be because of some madeup shite in your head

We do? I don’t think that’s right. We don’t want to lose a bunch of games we shouldn’t, and win some that we shouldn’t. We want to be competitive and put together some top seasons when the stars align. Outside of a a few crazies, we are collectively aware of what’s realistic

Nobody is scared of Florida, not even UGA if we’re being honest. Kentucky, Tennessee and SC...lol, ok

Give me a break, Mizzou won the SEC East twice already. Barry Odom whipped Florida in 2017 and 2018.

Success

Here's why, Mizzou has a soft schedule most years

2 G5 teams
FCS game
Low tier OOC P5 game
Vanderbilt
Arkansas

So 6 easy wins. Then you just have to win 2 of:

Kentucky
UT
South Carolina
SEC W foe
Georgia
Florida

And you have 8 wins
