I am the first one to congratulate an opponent after a loss.

Not really. I believe there was even a thread that mentioned Kelly's interest in the NFL.

Kelly left Notre Dame because he could not win the big games. Will he stick around LSU if he doesn't win the big games there? I don't know. He jumped once for that reason, he might again.

I don't like Lsu, and Lsu posters don't like A&M. And I hate even remotely defending Lsu but:

That take is dumb. Lsu went 10-4 last year with a first year head coach (and maybe staff?), with players that went 6-7 the year before. They were picked/supposed to win like what, 5-6-7 games in Kelly's first season? Instead of that, Kelly just took a team that had two awful seasons to the SECCG and crushed a Big 10 team so hard the score is still imprinted in the stadium.

I think, within the next 3 years, Lsu (whether I like it or not) will probably be in CFP discussions. Doesn't matter if he's going to win the CFP or not, he's probably going to do more at Lsu then he ever did at ND. Just facts.

Entire staff was with the exception of the OL coach and he'd only been at LSU for one season prior.

Started two true freshmen at OT which doesn't happen in the SEC.

Tons of new starters who were either true freshmen or transferred in, over half of the roster was not at LSU the year prior.

Both coordinators were new so the players were all learning new systems.

That is nice but LSU fans will expect more than this.

Wrong. We expected a bowl game last year. Kelly took a team of FBS transfers and freshmen and beat the most talented team in the country, sending LSU to Atlanta.
