Bama has big fish to land, but LSU and Florida have more.

The stars would have to align, but it's possible.

This guy is extremely creditable (possibly a former player) who is about 95% accurate. EXCITING!

jesus christ whatever. "this guy" is a poster on BOL who calls himself "justlike92". he has a total of 27 posts, and reading his other stuff, theres nothing to suggest he knows anything, and sure as hell no reason to think hes an ex player.

If all of the stars alligned and Bama finished with

Kirkpatrick 5*(VERY Likely)
Massie 5*(Very Likely)
Moses 5*(Not likely)
Randle 5*(50/50 imo)
Smith or Jackson 5*(Not Likely)
Kelly 4*(Very Likely)
Cox 4* (Very Likely)
Patrick 4*(Very Likely)

That leaves us at minimum 4/5* and 13/4*. Best case being 7/5* and 13/4*. So therefore, if all of the stars allign(Not Likely) Bama could finish #1 again. This is not stupid thinking, this is not ludicrous, this is not impossible, but it is not likely. However, I don't think we finish any lower than 3rd and I don't think LSU finishes any lower than 2nd. Either way, the West and the SEC comes through T'Town or Baton Rouge, especially when CUM leaves to ND after next season.

Probably on Rivals. For instance, DT Chris Davenport #2 DT on Scout, has been bumped down routinely on Rivals.gump from about the #9 player in the Nation. Just because a player is injured during the season, should not take away from his ability & potential. Davenport now sits at #26 & is a 5 Star. Somehow, "After further analysis", I can see the Gumps moving up #33 LB Nico Johnson, who they've been quietly pushing up the charts to a 5 star & dropping Chris Davenport to a 4 star. Just 7 spots away - hmm.. The stupid thing is everyone in the country knows Davenport/McFarland are #1 & #2 at DT. They has managed to slot 3 DT's in there to seperate them. Shannon "Lucky" Terry will get the Bobby Burton "Fudge Factor" moving in high gear.

2008 class: TE Tyler Edwards last year exposed them. Somehow he "dropped" from #11 to #26 in the "Final Analysis". Most of us know why. This little manuever kept LSU out of the Top 10 last year.

Bama is already at #4. We will definitely be in the top 3.

Maybe if you sign 31 kids like some other delusional gumps are saying.

Agree. Rivals is crap and bias towards the gumps. They'll be #1 on rivals but in top 3-5 on the rest of the recruiting sites. Just like last year. Whatever. 2 more years of this until Nick leaves for the mountains in GA.

I honestly think we will sign 27. 2 will back count to last year(With attrition, we only used 23 schollies and only have 83 on schollie right now. I think?), 25 this year, which means Coach Saban has to figure out a way to send 15 or 16 guys packing.
