It did help that the SEC West was ridiculously weak relative to the East through much of the 90s.
From 1993 to 2003, the SEC East Champion was a Top 10 team every single time they went to Atlanta. During that same time span, the SEC West had 8 teams that were not ranked in the top 10 advance to Atlanta.
Naturally the Hogs were ranked #23 and #22 on their two trips to Atlanta during that timeframe. State was ranked #23. Arkansas' losses were very lopsided by a combined score of 64-6.
The SEC East had a record of 8-3 from 1993 to 2003. Florida and Tennessee pretty much ran the show until LSU turned the tables and West started to emerge as a force. The West has won 4 of the last 5.

I got blasted for trolling when i started this thread not long ago, now the calls for Arkansas to run away from the SEC are starting to get louder.

There are no "calls." There is one freaked out writer who is calling. Quit being a douche. You have done nothing in the SEC besides beat a injury-ridden team with no morale and no coach. You had one successful year in the Big 12, just one. Before you come in here talking so much shite you should chill the frick out. 41-25, not to mention a winning record in every venue we have ever played against the great Aggie potential.
