I am not very familiar with Cincy scheme wise but I think they were better on defense in 2020 than this year. Lost some guys on the front and they’re not as stiff against the run.
I think the key for Alabama is getting BRob healthy over the next 3 weeks. He played decently at probably 50%. They’re going to need him closer to 90% - whatever that means - and really ride him hard to set up play action fakes.
I would caution Alabama fans from just assuming Cincy will get dominated. I don’t know their scheme in depth but I do know that Cincy plays a lot of man-to-man and they’re very aggressive. This has been the blueprint for all the teams that have “surprised” Alabama in 2021.
Alabama has struggled with their best possession receiver against that defensive approach. Now they’ll be seeing something in that vein without Metchie.
I wouldn’t put Alabama on upset alert because I think the Cincy offense is really going to struggle against the Alabama front seven on the speedy turf in Dallas. Still, this could end up being more of a dogfight than most suspect.

FWIW, I think Brooks will be your #2 and that kid has potential. Bama will be fine, they'll be lead by the Heisman winner.
