After Saban's second recruiting class, I thought this would be the year for them to win it all. Also didn't think they'd pull off two straight undefeated regular seasons.
I would have said yes to them repeating, but since I'm getting everything wrong, the real answer is no.
I think.

They certainly should on paper. It's Sabans 4th year so the "process" should be complete. LSU is down. Florida seems to be a bit down and they get them at home. Auburn is obviously still a couple of years away and they get them at home. Arkansas may be their toughest game and they have no excuse not to beat the pigs in year three under petrino all things considered.
Should be complete.....I think last year makes it pretty evident that it is already "complete"

i know we lost some key players...but most of our offense returns and most of our defense returns...id rather have to fill a few key spots than have to replace my entire defense

That's all we're doing. All of the starters for the D-Line and LB Corp have significant experience

on paper, I think they have to be your favorite to repeat as national champs
McElroy, Ingram, Richardson, and Jones are all back
just gotta replace McClain, Cody, and Arenas and tough slate (UF at home, on the road at Death Valley and at Fayetteville).

Your post implies that Alabama is not returning anyone with experience. At Bama, just because you didn't get the term "starter" by your name doesn't mean you aren't good, and certainly doesn't mean you didn't get experience. Dareus, Upshaw, Harris, Hightower, Kirkpatrick, Jordan, Davis, Square...
These are names of people who got snaps last year, with some of them getting LOTS. Hightower and Square were pivotal parts of the defense until their injuries, and aren't counted as starters returning, though in truth they really are.
Basically, Bama isn't in nearly as bad of shape on defense as a lot of people are making it out to be. That's what happens when you make assumptions based off of year old depth charts.

the same arguement can be made for everyone that we lost except for maybe tebow bc brantley did not get significant starting experience..although he has been in the system for 3 years...the fact of that matter is...when you have alot of depth like florida and bama does..backups are going to get plenty of game reps...not to mention mop up duty bc the 2 teams were almost always up big
I know you guys have some players stepping in with some game experience and these players will be talented...but florida has players stepping in with game experience also..and these players are just as talented as your players

If they beat Arkansas in Fayetteville, yes.

It's Florida's turn this year. The east is weak, and once they make it to the SECCG, no one wins more often.

"Yes, If they beat Arkansas in Fayetteville This Year"
Really? So now Arky determines who wins the SEC West? Bwaaahaaaahaa!!
Sorry, I lost it. Actually The SEC West will be determined Through Tuscaloosa, or Baton Rouge. Auburn also has a say in it but since we play LSU at Death Valley this year and The Iron Bowl is in Tusky this year It'll be from those games who goes.
Now go back to Dreaming while you slop the Hogs Brah....

I think it depends on the drive and desire of the players coming off the NC, which for now seems very strong.

I sure hope they don't but they have to be considered the strong favorite.

Keep laughing, BRAH. I have yet to meet someone who says that shite that struck me as hetero.
If your attitude is any indication of the teams attitude, I'm changing my answer to no, SOMEBODY, maybe a few somebodies will beat the hell out of Bama.
