Because he’s a twat. He was embarrassed by a bunch of kids who actually go to a good school and will have a future beyond CTE. In that moment he realized that his best case scenario was losing to those nerds then being another bankrupt NFL bama bust and it was a hard one to reconcile so he lashed out like most tarded kids do.

Not sure if it's the same play you're talking about but Overton threw a punch and hit another player while trying to knock the ball out. Could've easily been a flag
