We did. He’s better than what you’re used to. That said Bama, Auburn, Georgia and Mississippi State have at least as good and honestly better QBs at the moment. You can’t play Bama Georgia or Auburn in a box any more. You have to defend the entire field. Why do LSU fans run here expecting fans of said schools talking about how great y’all think he is?

LMAO at all the L7U fans acting like Burrow did something they hadn't had in a QB...

Hell Danny Etling had better stats and acrually had a TD pass last year game 1, and they were crowning him and the team. This is the year though.

LSU Passing
C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT QBR
D. Etling 14/17 171 10.1 0 0 90.4

Burrow is a game 1 poor man's Etling.

FYI, Etling played BYU in game 1 last year. Miami has a much better defense.

Now that they got ol’ Burrow at the helm, you just might see the real eye of the Tiger this year, and I wouldn’t want to be the opposing teams... I’ll tell you that.

I guess a QB who can't even complete 50% of his passes is still somehow the best that LSU has had at the position in a decade

BYU gave up an average of 20 total yards more per game than Miami last year.
