I always thought Royal blue.

Duke University: While Duke's official university color is a darker navy blue, they use a lighter shade of blue, known as Duke Royal Blue, in their Iron Duke logo and for their athletic branding.
BYU: BYU uses royal blue as one of its primary colors for athletics.

Forgot about Duke.

I only checked P4 teams. I knew Duke and BYU had colors similar to Uk’s royal blue. I didn’t know they were the only ones.

As an earlier poster noted, Dr. George Petrie started football at Auburn and was a UVA grad, so he chose navy blue and burnt orange. We once had a coach who substituted green for the blue because he was from Notre Dame. He didn't last long.

State’s were chosen by the first team captain, WM Matthews in November1895 prior to the very first game played by Mississippi A&M as the school was known as then. He promptly chose maroon & white.
And we have been maroon & white ever since. Except we have had some stupid black uniforms in recent years which are horrid. And it appears we are going to have black again this year. Uggggggggghhhhhhhhh.
Plus our colors are maroon & white. Meaning we should never ever wear maroon pants. They are horrid too.
We should only be maroon-white or white-white. And I am good with one special uniform each season as long as it is not black.
