Yeah, they really nailed the line in the Ole Miss game last week. Vegas doesn't predict who wins or by how much, they just want to make money off suckers
Right. They set a line to get even money on the game so that they win either way. They don't care, know, or predict who wins. They just want the juice. That's why the line moves.
I don't see what that has to do with the sharps moving late money on Mizzou though?

Move the line down to lure in the minnows and dump the real cash on Florida before the game tomorrow.

Solid rebuttal. Feel free to bump this thread tomorrow night, I'll do the same.

It seems like the square bet...so I didn't bite.
I think this will be a very close, low scoring game. I'd stay away from it completely honestly.
Both this line and the UT/UGA line have been odd. I'm not sure Vegas knows what to make of the East.

Why would you bump it? You've already proven you don't know how betting lines work. No need to solidify it further tomorrow...

Sure thing, fella. I guarantee the line moves back towards Florida before kickoff. And they will cover, too.

where the line starts is all that matters. that is what Vegas Thinks. people who bet are just people betting. most are probably uninformed.

I would agree on most occasions. But remember, even a half point move counts. Gonna be interesting to see what happens.

Dumb trailer trash band wagon gator fans run out of cash?
Do you understand how Vegas works? From your post it seems you do not.

Mizzou has trailer parks where the toothless granny landlord chases the meth heads trading sex for rent. Ever watch "Kingpin" ?....filmed in Mizzou.

Mizzou does this act every year. They are gonna be a tough out because of their preseason schedule. Its a big advantage.
But, but but... What about the narrative that no team can survive the SEC "meat grinder schedule" without late season cupcakes games? Now it's a big advantage?? Whatever.
We Do What We Do, bitch.

Florida is the square side. Every swinging dick out there sees Fla destroy Ole Miss, then sees them -3 or -4 vs Missou and loads up. Gators are coming off a win over a top 5 team with LSU next week. Classic sandwich game. Teams rarely do well in these spots. Missouri is the right side. Gators may indeed win, but if you have Fla covering I'd love to be your bookie

That wasn't hard to cover. The UF defense almost cover the point spread on there own .
