Houston,: Too far for most fans to drive
Dallas,: too far
New Orleans,: shitty city and already has Sugar Bowl
Miami,: Too far
Tennessee,: stadium too small
Tampa: too far

The argument is irrelevant. There is so much more to see and do in our conference than just Atlanta.

New Orleans, Houston, Nashville, St. Louis, Kansas City, Dallas, Orlando, Miami, and Tampa all should figure in the rotation for the SECCG IMHO.

You are correct. It is irrelevant. Since it will never leave Atlanta.

Never is a long time. And this issue isn't going away IMHO.

LSU fans are the only people contending it's an issue

The future will look very different. Doesn't take a crystal ball to see that. Too much money involved to stay the way it is.

One could easily make the argument the other way

Money is involved, in the form of a new 1.2 billion dollar stadium in ATL

Not really, since most of the other conferences rotate the championship game as it is already.

My scenario for this happening is that once the SEC admits it's a possibility that the SECCG will rotate, it then becomes inevitable.

The presidents and chancellors, who run this conference, will get "requests" from donors and alumni who live in the largest cities of their respective states to vote for rotation.

That's when it will happen.

Fine with me move the thing over too Montgomery Alabama and play it at the Cramdon bowl for all I care.

The City of Atlanta has a bigger convention going on at the same time as this so, this is just a gravy event in their eyes.

BFD who cares where it's played anyhow morons<

I think people are missing the golden carrot here... THE AIRPORT.

Atlanta has the best and busiest airport in the nation. Has anyone ever flown to NOLA? Awful airport.

Many fans drive to the SECCG, but for the times Mizzou makes it, it's nice to not have to worry about getting a last minute flight.

That, plus the aforementioned obviousness (central location, abundant hotels, melting pot fanbases, new stadium in 3 years etc....) should end this dumbass argument.

Be honest LSU fans...

How are you going to feel in 2016 when Alabama and Georgia are facing off in the SEC Championship at the Superdome, living it up in NOLA, the crazy nights on bourbon, the women, the gumps and leghumpers taking over your town, in jubilation and celebration of the event, while you are sitting in your trailer in St Charles, pissed off and muttering about some ref that blew a call, obviously on Slive's payroll, jibber jabbering about some recruit of yours that just flipped to Alabama because Saban personally bought the boy's grandmother a new Kia, obviously spotted going through the local Popeye's drive-thru and splashed all over twitter, and why won't the NCAA do anything about it, etc?
