People hoping Mett "breaks out" are just delusional. He is what he is right now. He has the ability to make every throw he just lacks the pocket presence and timing to be consistent. Not to mention our WRs have had a ridiculous amount of drops this year. People are reading way too much into the A&M game as far as the passing game goes. The wind on the field was ridiculous.

I would just love for our receivers to hold on to the damn ball period and when they do don't fumble it away

LSU will never have QB under Miles that will throw the ball all over the place. Having a QB like AJ that does not make mistakes and makes the throws is what you want.

Yep. We're pretty much an OBJ fumble away from being undefeated.

Should'a, would'a, could'a, but that is the truth. That game goes in a total different direction if he does not cough the ball up right there. No excuse, just the truth, but that is how it has gone all year long.

He's not it's just Internet bullshite. He will be lost Saturday night. He will not even know how to read the blitz packages that will be thrown at him.

Is there a Bama fan on here that thinks they even have a slight chance of losing this game? All seem pretty convinced we're no better than Moo State and will lose by 3+ TDs. Guess there could be a ton of totally shocked Bama fans on here come Saturday night.

Mett having a break out game really isn't on Mett. All the needs to happen is that the WRs catch the balls that hit them in the hands, the true drops.

Our passing stats would be avg or better with only that change, not counting yards after catch and then the subsequent additional plays/points resulting from the extended drives.

If our WRs get focused and hang on the ball our offense is going to click.

I'm definitely worried about this game. To be honest, if the game was at home, we'd probably dominate because I think we're a better overall team and we have a QB that hasn't been making mistakes. However, I think the crowd in Death Valley could rally your D to make plays to win the game.

If we jump out to an early lead though to take your crowd completely out, it could be a long night IMO.

It's called hope. They know the only way they win is if Mett has a great game. We all hope, some hope more.
