UF has taken advantage of a weak schedule before as well.
In 2008 y'all played ZERO teams that finished in the top 12 in the final AP poll prior to the SEC championship game.
Y'all also went 1-1 against teams that finished in the top 12 in the final AP poll in 2006 prior to the SECCG as well.

Im just glad the players arent scared since they are the ones that play the damn games. Just play whoever is on the schedule and enjoy the great competition. I as a LSU fan wouldnt want to beat up on Kentucky as our permanent opponent every year.

Probably my favorite game every year along with Bama. Like the Auburn game also. Hell they are all good

My favorite, most entertaining/thrilling games have been against Florida. Last years game against bama was actually very entertaining...which is odd. Because LSU/bama games can be like watching grass grow.

I suggested that because I know they don't want to be stuck with Bama every year. This entire argument is about fairness of schedule. I don't think its the fact we play Fla. We have played them I think since the Revolutionary War.

The OP and the LSU "fans" who bitch about LSU's schedule are really clueless. Before the SEC expanded, Tennessee, Auburn, Florida, Bama, LSU, and Georgia were decent teams. Auburn had a great rivalry with Tenn., and Florida. Auburn played those two schools each year. Tenn. was once a good team that could handle Bama. Auburn, back in the day, beat Bama when LSU couldn't beat Bama. The big games rival games back when I went to LSU, were Bama/Tenn, Auburn/Fla, Auburn/Tenn,Auburn/Bama,Ole Miss/LSU. Before the SEC expanded, Tenn. and Florida rarely played each other. Guess what LSU "fans", before expansion, Kentucky was our permament game. Good teams come and go. Tenn., Fla., UGA., were once great powers. LSU, on the other hand, was decent. Back in the day, our true rival was Ole Miss, and they probably cost us a NC back in '69.

If Tennessee was still good LSU fans wouldn't bitch about playing UF. I imagine Bama fans wish Tennessee was better too, it has to get boring after a while when your 2nd biggest rival doesn't even belong on the same field as your team.

The biggest issue arises in when the conference expands so does the imbalance of the schedule. Now I love our UF cross division rivalry. It's just the way the divisions are determined with all SEC game taken into account is troubling.
Next year LSU, Arky, and AU are at a disadvantage due to their cross division rivals.
I know this has been an issue since the creation of the divisions, but it has gotten worse since we went to 14.
Unless they had a plan in place to add 2 more teams and failed; I have no idea why they needed to bridge the schedules again this season. Reason why LSU fans are bitching is because the two bridge scheduled seasons we have had the two hardest cross divisional schedules.
SEC Champ games do not count as seen per 2011 season.
