That doesn't even make sense.
People are posting in and about this topic without getting irrationally angry about the mere existence of the topic.
We found it interesting enough to open and engage. Whereas you opened it just to cry "I don't like this topic!!"

I think the Vandy win over Alabama recently was the only time where I was like - yeah, they deserve this....all 10% of them.

Most of the schools that pat themselves on the back for not storming have only not did so because it's hard to get to field level and/or their university prevents them from it.

You have to set the standard and expectations to win sometime. Bama fans do not rush the field because we have watched Bama play in a lot of big games over the years and come out on top most of the time. When Bama wins a big game it’s just something we have watched many many times over the decades. It’s not that we are arrogant about it or even being disrespectful to the other teams we beat. It’s just part of the culture and the standard that has been set that comes with a lot of winning. I would imagine that Georgia fans kind of has a similar mindset in more recent years with all the winning Kirby has done. Win, celebrate, and move on to the next game and repeat the process.

Plus, nobody tries anyway.
Rushing the field use to be extremely rare for anyone to do. It would only happen in big time upsets or some huge achievement for a team.
Alabama doesn't really have those, wins are expected.
Now people rush out on the field trying to create moments they can post about on social media and it's dumb.

This. When Bama beat Aubie in 90 or 91, a (small) number of fans rushed the field. I was in school there at the time. I would have joined in, but I was too lazy to climb the fence. Bham PD quickly put the brakes on the whole affair and rounded folks up, mainly students, and deposited them around the goal posts. It was not what people today consider a “field rush”.

Personally I'm glad Alabama has a long history and is in line with traditions and thus doesn't really qualify for such things.
And I hope we never do.

What game should Alabama fans have rushed the field over in history? What game qualifies for that?
Some game like the Iron Bowl in 2008? And why would that qualify, only because Auburn won 6 in a row before then.
I don't ever want to be a team that rushes the field.

As someone said above most Bama fans consider it a point of pride to not do it. I’m sure Bama has fantastic security. I’m sure everyone else does too. Rushing the field though is kind of a monkey see monkey do thing anyway. When you see it happen you typically see the people on the lower levels kind of get staged. Then everyone else sees them getting ready so they wanna come down and take part. The people on the lower levels basically encourage the rest of the stadium. Rushing the field puts people the opposing team and coaches in a bad spot anyway. It should carry very stiff penalties to stop it. You are also putting the people storming the field in a bad spot by allowing it. When someone gets seriously hurt or trampled to death and a huge lawsuit has to be paid out then you will see it stop altogether. It’s just a shame it will take something serious like that in the first place to stop it.
