Clemson 99 plays 0 penalties. So much for the more important calls at more important times bullshite

I guess logic is bad for fan?

If you don't think that was a hold on Lewis Neal, you're past the point of being saved.
There is literally no way that you can say that was 100 percent a hold. I would've been pissed if that would've been called. Because it wasn't a hold.

because it's an easy way to manipulate penalty totals to make it seem like officiating was even, when bama gets more significant calls at more significant times.

No one can use pretzel logic and circular arguments like an L8U fan.

I don't see a hold any one of those. Arm around is not a hold.
seriously? let me guess, you didn't see the referee move that spot of the ball to guarantee a bama first down against ole miss in 2013 either, did ya?

First, I agree there were holds that Bama got away with on the Hurts run for a TD. Just as there are on almost every play. Usually, DLmen who felt it affected the play at such a pivotal moment would be expressing their displeasure with the refs, which they do not... so, I dont know. It happens for both sides every game day.
That said, Bama has missed some big calls in conference as well. Likely none bigger the GoTC Pt1
William's in control of ball feet from ground; Reid one hand on William's waist and one on William's wrist and ball
Williams near impact with ground; still in possession; Reid hand placement no change
Williams down; appearance of dual possesion; ruled INT.
Replay could not overturn
Huge play in a a defensive struggle. Easily could have gone Bama's way outright or through rule interpretation. Instead, LSU took over and the rest is history.
Bad call for Bama and good call for LSU. Either way it didn't take away from a great game. Schit happens. Sometimes you just have to roll with it. But, to say Bama gets all the big calls is ridiculous and only looking at it through an anti-bama lens.
Going back and honestly watching games from both sides opens you up to see it generally goes both ways. We, fans, just imprint the moments that generate the more significant emotional reaction, which shapes our reality.
