Louisiana is a shite hole too. I've lived in both states for numerous years.. it's basically the same fricking thing. Louisiana is full of passive aggressive depressed assholes because of hurricane culture and Alabama is full of trailer trash and rednecks because of rawhll tide and duck dynasty.

The south is the south no matter which state. Pick one out of a hat and its the same story. The rural areas are full of broke arse trailer parks, the urban areas have crime ridden downtown ghettos, and the suburbs have upper middle and upper class white flight refugees. Memphis, Atlanta, Birmingham, NOLA, Jackson, etc, etc.

Alabama. We do college football to well... so lets make fun off them for it... on an anonymous collegesports message board...
