PRS is far more fun than benchrest shooting. 3 gun is more fun than IPDA. Skeet is more fun that trap.

If you are not participating or actually involved in them they are not a whole lot of fun to watch.

Yep. Back in the day we could drive our trucks to high school with rifles and shotguns in a gun rack mounted inside back window. At least in the rural town where I grew up. It was just the norm back then and yes that was 70s and early 80s.

In the early 90s a bunch of us had firearms in our trucks because we hunted before and after school. I had a pistol in my truck because I had rabbit boxes I had a run of rabbit boxes I checked before school and a rifle or shotgun depending on the season. Our vise principal had a rifle or shotgun in his office for the same reason.
