Don't hate Yeldon, but we can all agree that he sucks arse during crucial times of the game.
He's the most unclutch player in the SEC.
This thread wreaks of insecurity fwiw

Yeldon benefits in both YPC stat and health by having RBs that are equal or greater talent than him getting carries
But he also loses carries therefore decreasing his yards and touchdowns. Again, why YPC is relevant.
Good thing Gurley doesn't have an outstanding backup.

Phil Steele just released his Preseason All-America list with Yeldon on the 2nd team putting him in the top 4 RB's nationally.
He was on the 1st team of Sporting News Preseason All-America team with Todd Gurley. LINK
CBSsports had Yeldon as their 3rd RB off the board in thier first 2015 mock draft. LINK
Athlon Sports has Yeldon as their 2nd best running back in 2015. LINK
NFL.com writer Bryan Fischer actually took Yeldon as the 1st running back taken in a college football fantasy draft for all college players. Gurley was taken with the next pick. LINK
NFL Draft Geek has Yeldon as the #2 RB in the country for next season. LINK
NFL Futures has Yeldon rated as their #3 RB. LINK
That is a lot of hype for a guy about to lose his job.

Damn that todd gurley and his body's inability to withstand and immediatley recover from a 250 pound LSU defender rolling up his ankle and spraining it.

Congrats on all the preseason fluff. None of that means shite.

What's the cutoff for "one of the best"? He's a top 10 back nationally most likely. Is he one of the top 2 or 3?
No.
Are you still sticking with this, even when I've provided substantial evidence to the contrary? If you would like to better back up your claim, you can name the 5 or 6 RB's you'd take over Yeldon.

Well Keith Marshall didn't make it out of Kneeland stadium

He had more carries than both Mike Davis and Todd Gurley

Because he chokes at the most in opportune times every single time

Did I ever say that he didn't? Your claim is that his health is helped by having superior backups. If he does (which I also believe is the case), then logically he would have had more touchdowns and yards if he did not have said backups. If he doesn't then your point is moot and you shouldn't have made it in the first place.

Good call lets take the guy that had 1026 yards, 5.4 YPC, and 4 TDs instead of the guy that 1235 yards, 6 YPC and 14 TDs. Auburn logic.

Most preseason lists available would disagree with you, but hey, go for it. Aren't you the same guy yesterday that argued that you would trust Sporting News over mine and your own opinion because they do that for a living? Go check where they have Yeldon ranked.

He losses fewer carries/tds/yards to backups than Davis and Gurley lose to injury.

Not sure if serious. Marshall > Drake IMO. At the very least, Marshall doesn't warrant that comment. As for Henry, we really know no more about him than we do Chubb or Michel. My grandmother could have run through those holes against Okie.
UGA goes 12-2 and all we heard is East is shite, lol at beating Nebraska and Bama laid down in the first half of the SECCG. Oh, and Yeldon still > Gurley.
Bama goes 11-2, gets embarrassed by OU, and we get lectured on how good their backup RBs are and how good Jacob Coker is about to be.
Truly amazing how the imaginary border of a state line changes the mentality of each state's inhabitants so drastically.
Bama is an Amari Cooper knee injury away from going 8-4 in 2014.

I think that we only have three losses since he's been there and his contributions far exceed anything that he has done negatively. And measuring success by atm standards rather than our own, he's all-world.

That's a completely subjective statement, but can easily be argued the other way. Mike Davis had only 4 less carries than Yeldon even with Davis's injuries, he missed one game.

So instead of refuting claims made by yourself just a couple of days ago, and dozens of sports writers across the country, you resort to the "so mad" argument. Gotcha.

It was sarcastic to the SC fan who claimed Yeldon was the only one that had carries taken away by a good backup. Georgia has that dilemma as well with Gurley and Marshall and it will be even more prominent with all the talented freshmen backs UGA has coming in.
