We all made fun of Michigan and they won the NC. We make fun of OSU and they won it last year and will probably win it again this year. Being "battle tested" is overrated.

The Big 10 claims our SOS only looks better because they overrate the SEC teams to start the season and with the power ratings etc.

And being healthy is not overrated.

At the end of the day, you can't run from a weak schedule once you're in the playoffs.

Ohio State had no business being in a playoff after that horrendous Michigan loss. With that said, Michigan was the best team in the country, was undefeated the whole way through, and really proved they were the best team by beating Alabama and Washington in the playoffs.

Nobody says being "battle tested" is an advantage. Quite the opposite: Having the easiest path to the playoffs is clearly an advantage.

That's why it's only fair to compensate teams with tougher paths (SOS) with higher rankings.

Cause 31-14 vs ND in '21 Rose Bowl.

Cause 52-24 vs. Ohio State in '21 CFP Championship.

Cause 42-14 vs. ND in the 2013 BCS Championship.
