He would be a pretty decent coach if he'd stop being deathly afraid of punting every now and then.

Will be interesting to see how blowing up the dynamics of your team and the locker room impacts the QB position

He can also recruit the portal well, even at Ole Miss.
That said, he is a weak high school recruiter, and absolutely sucks at fielding a decent defense and game day decision making. Unless he improves he is a better than average coach with a very limited ceiling. Which is better than anything Ole Miss has had without a Manning QB.

Dudes been the head coach at USC, Oakland Raiders, UTk, FAU, amd now Ole Miss. He keeps getting jobs. All these people can’t be wrong.

Losing 20 players to the portal and signing 10 is not using the portal well. The portal rankings should be net rankings that subtract the losses.

We’ve absolutely upgraded through the portal, and we are still going to add probably 15 more guys.

Love when other team fans try and dunk on portal attrition when portal season is never ending. This cycle will last into spring ball and even summer and fall camp. Rosters aren’t set in stone just because we’ve had one signing day and one portal window.
