Why are your jimmies so rustled about it. You sound insecure.
Most of us LSU fans (me included) are pretty realistic and think LSU has almost no shot to win. But go cry in a corner if it will make you feel better.

LSU has very little chance just like all of college football of beating Alabama this year.
Anyone saying this in their mind knows it is a long shot however they can say it all they want because it makes them feel good.
Confidence is vital to athletic competition and the coaches have to job of getting the players motivated for a big game. Fans have to motivate themselves and saying LSU is going to win makes us feel better then hey lets do it.

This year is different. We are a longshot and have nothing to lose. Bama has everything to lose including a playoff spot so it is very fun to get inside their heads these two weeks. Jump in! Have fun!
