I don’t blame anyone with a 7 figure payout on the line for skipping a game without championship considerations.
In some ways those bowl games are more valuable developmentally to the younger guys anyways.
I can see if someone wanted to go out a winner in a bowl playing, but I certainly don’t hold not playing against them if the game isn’t playoff or championship related.
