No, its not. It's getting done what everyone expects you to get done. Auburn beating ULM by 34 was NOT a good win. At all. They sucked as a team and we were supposed to drill them, and we did. I'm not going to bring up that win as if it somehow made us represent the SEC well.
That same logic applies to Appalachian State, North Texas, Tulane, and Troy.

Gotcha, just cuz I'm feeling generous lets go by your logic: throw out the tulane, etc games and this is what we got:
Troy 40-31 win, but meaningless cuz we sucked it up the first 3 qters.
Georgia Tech: Good win.
There you have it. Not great, but please for the love of God answer my question. How is the combination of those two games embarrassing? Go!

Troy was embarrassing, not Georgia Tech, which really redeamed LSU. Getting absoultely blown out on three occasions, was pretty bad, but in conference losses don't hurt the perception of the conference.
The Georgia Tech win balanced it out for the most part, but before bowl season LSU was a huge embarrassment because they really hadn't beaten anybody noticeable and had so drastically underachieved during the season, including letting Auburn have one of their best offensive performances of the year in that game, and that Troy game which I'm hanging my hat on only because Troy dominated that game in the way they did before their great collapse.
None of this is saying Auburn isn't an embarrassment this year, just FWIW. We were a bigger embarrassment before LSU before bowl season, and even moreso afterward.

My cousin actually went to the game and was giving me updates from her phone. I also caught the ESPN recap of that game.

Going from National Champion one year to unranked isnt really making anyone look good.
I would rather go 12-2 and lose to Utah in the Sugar Bowl.
And dont think Utah wouldnt have kicked our arse this year because they would have.

LSU has done a great job at representing the SEC over the past few years, but when you bash Auburn, I have to point out that no team is perfect, and if you don't realize this, then you are hopeless.
Dude, you hit the fricking nail on the head with this one. These motherfrickers act like they toppled the New England Patriots in the Chicken Bowl. They beat a one dimensional offense who can't come from behind at all. They got 50 hung on them twice, plus lost to Arkansas and Ole Miss. Who the frick are they kidding?

So y'all have the best season in Gumpville in a fricking decade and still manage to have NOTHING to show for it. I guess y'all could put an SEC West banner up or maybe a plaque or something. At this point in the season (meaning that it's over) 12-2 with ZERO championships or bowl wins = 8-5 with a big bowl win. Neither one of them really mean shite.
