They were so desperate to win. They had to know that people would be like hmmmm? They pretty much went all in and it blew up in their faces without even winning a championship of their division. They forgot that lsu bama and auburn have been recruiting like that for a long time.

I was replying to your first comment where you attempted to deny that state college paid recruits not to visit ole miss and other schools. kudos to you for admitting that this indeed happened at starksville, while trying to make it seem that ole miss was the one who did it

Some schools also do it the stupid way and are so blatant that they get caught

Well, yeah. The boosters need to be a few steps in distance from the school. The head coach needs to not know who they are, but how to get the message to them when needed. It's a sick, symbiotic relationship, but it's there.

The other side of this is that boosters shut the spigots off if they lose faith in a coach. UTK turned against Dooley, and they're in the process of revolting against Lyle. It would appear that the big money isn't behind Muschamp yet, because obviously, and clearly DawgNation is 100% behind Kirby.

Actually, it was your AD who admitted that OM did indeed pay a signee of another school (See the 4th Allegation of OMs video response the the NoA)
I've always admitted that we paid our own player. So what? We did the time for it

you have been misinformed and misled. it was proven that state college/starksville paid recruits not to visit ole miss. you have it backwards.

No, no I haven't. This thread doesn't have anything to do with Mississippi State, and I don't have any experience dealing with their shady practices. I do, however, know for 100% fact that what I just posted is accurate. Doesn't really matter at this point.

bowtie and polka dot shorts demand is down thus they have to artificially create demand by paying people to buy in.

Is that right?

The most prestigious college football program of all time has to pay players to commit for the same reasons that Ole Miss does?

Oh. Okay.

Hyperbole much? I own property in Oxford that would most certainly lose value if OlMiss was hit with a death penalty. Stop being emotional

I'd say the University of Alabama has considerably fewer reasons to pay players to commit than Ole Miss.

It happens, sure, but Bama damn sure isn't doing things like paying players to not visit other schools.

At the same or less rate than every other major program. It happens everywhere. Bama has less of a need to do it than others, probably.

Ok......
You're obviously a fair minded man!
Ole Miss was extremely stupid, obvious, and arrogant and gets whatever they deserve!
