I can see why an Ole Miss fan would think like this. Ole Miss sucks at everything.

I have no doubt about that. I hardly recognize the mentality of quite a few of the P&G. They tend to be younger and have little sense of 'through thick and thin'.
On that, we can agree. I went to the Sugar Bowl in '89 against Miami and those were some of the worst fans.
And I think it was because it was a program still in its relative infancy enjoying immense success.
But any program on a good run is going to bring out the cockroaches.
So I have no doubt we have a certain population of assholes that we didn't in 2006.

While you are correct, you're being very sensitive.
The quote at the top of the OP was made by a Bama fan so that's the direction I took. No hard feelings.

I am proud to see there is at least one Ole Miss fan who is smarter than everybody in Bama nation !

My statement was about fans in general.
Bama may stick out because of Finebaum being on satellite radio or maybe because the 30on30 that ESPN did, I really don't know.

it's quite possible that all these "Bama fans" would just switch to whatever fanbase is doing bettert at the time.
Does that make it true? No
Is the person making the comment just making a comment or talking out their azz? Yes

If you're cool with losing you are a loser.

Do college football fans ever lose?

ESPN isn't going to put the guy on TV who goes to the game on Saturday and then goes back to his cubicle and khakis on Monday.
They're going to put the guy who poisons trees--and calls Finebaum to tell him about it--on TV.
And Finebaum. You said Finebaum.
You know I do get pretty sensitive about the South. I'm a child of the south. I grew up in Mississippi, went to Alabama, so there's some misplaced pride I have in being a southerner.
And then I listen to Finebaum.
I hear most of the regulars are actually compensated. So when you get a regular train wreck like Phillis or Jim from Tuscaloosa, you can bet they are being compensated.
Finebaum is the Jerry Springer of the SEC. No, he's the Jerry Springer of Alabama.

Why being an Ole Miss fan is easier than being a Bama fan

a troll (/'tro?l/, /'tr?l/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people,[1] by posting inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a forum, chat room, or blog), either accidentally[3][4] or with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[5] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[6]

I've lived for an extended period of time (several years)in Louisiana, Florida, Colorado, North Carolina, Alabama and DC. Alabama is the only place where CFB is 24/7/365. Not quite sure why that is, but it is. And probably is the main factor regarding the OP.

This is my thread and I'll title it what I want.
That being said, I think easier falls under better so my thread title is acceptable.

There's probably some truth to this. Our state sucks. I'm ready to move.
Birmingham is a train wreck. You know Birmingham was in position to build an aiport like Atlanta's, before Atlanta did it?
Think about that for a minute.
Had we not completely sucked, just imagine. Maybe there's an NFL team here now, maybe baseball, maybe pro basketball.
But no, we just still suck.
So we have a CFB program that is dominating. What else--sports wise--do you want us to talk about?
