UL-Lafayette can barely be competitive in the Sun Belt. What makes you think they would go to the Big 12?

I ask again - have you kittens ever played Louisiana in anything?
This all looks so rigged at the State House.
Now you know this is an Ulala fan alerting as Texas fan, Have we played Louisiana?

It’s the equivalent to playing Texas State or Sam Houston State.
I think the best Texas comp historically is North Texas... simply because like ULL... they were in D1 longer and didn't move up recently like Texas State and Sam Houston State did.
But currently, Texas State and Texas and LSU and ULL comparison is spot on.

ULL averages anywhere from 14,000 to 20,000 fans per game. Their fans don't invest in the team and neither do their boosters. I root for them since they are a local team.
LSU doesn't have any rivals. You would have to go back in time to see a rival. Tulane and Ole Miss back in 1960.

I mean UAB is more of the flagship school in the University of Alabama system but that gets overlooked by you! UAB is closer to Alabama’s enrollment than ULL is to LSU.
