This wasn’t the National Championship game. If they make a change it won’t be because of a regular season game that is evidently “‘meaningless” in most UK’s fans eyes.

I can actually get behind this.
Thanks, and yes, LSU fans can pour it on sometimes.
Good game

Let's go to New Orleans and try to talk sense into my fellow Saints fans who still blame the no-call for the Saints' loss in the NFC title game.

How are the kids saying it nowadays "eat a big fat throbbing penis" maybe? whatever it is you should do that. A lot.

I do think this will enact a rules change for being able to review last second shots and for officials to be able to change their call/no call
I don't.
This is a regular season game between ranked teams, which was tight most of the second half. The call being reversed doesn't make Kentucky a winner, it sends the game to OT.

It doesn't end either teams' season.

If Kentucky is truly that much better, then maybe they should be up double digits at home vs a team ranked way below them, instead of hoping for a stop to force overtime

I didn't make any excuses. We shouldn't have lost the big lead.
A rules change will result from this game.

Big lead? A 3 possession game against a team that’s shown multiple times through the season that they’re able to comeback from any deficit isn’t really a big lead.

Why? Some replay angles look like basket interference, at least one doesn't. The one that doesn't, is from the broadcast feed of the play- the ball looks to be off the cylinder as you watch the play unfold.

Does this definitely take a W away from Kentucky? No, LSU was playing to win, with OT as the alternative. LSU had already outscored Kentucky by 8 in the second half, and Waters (point guard) was consistently beating Kentucky off the dribble every play on defense. This could have been a Ky OT win, or it could have been an LSU OT win by a bigger margin.

Did this screw someone over with potential favoritism? No, LSU was the significant underdog, Kentucky was the much higher ranked team, with all the media backing, playing at home. There's no possible conspiracy you can point at. Nobody wanted LSU to win. Nobody expected LSU to win.

Does this affect anything in the big picture? No- Kentucky is still two games behind Tennessee, with 2 games remaining against them. Kentucky is still going to be a high NCAA seed. Their season isn't over and this didn't knock them out of the playoffs.

Why in the frick do you want a review? Do you want to check every tip-in, do you also want to look at every possible contact for a foul? Do you want to go over every alley-oop to see if any of those passes are potentially in the cylinder, or in line with the goal as a shot? I mean, if it's a one-possession game at the end, EVERYTHING matters...

Your team played a tight regular-season game at home, and lost. Get over it.

LSU should whip Kentucky out next time. LSU played timid much of the game last night. LSU looked 8-10 points better on a neutral court.

This. LSU wins by 10+ in OT easily.

Only reason I’m happy that it ended in regulation is because all OT games are counted as a +1 point margin in the NET regardless of final score. Otherwise, it would have been fun beating UK by 10+.

And you fricks are whining on your websites about cheating and what not.

This is sooooo comical its pathetic. UK invented cheating in men's basketball.
You've perfected the art and yet want to lecture us about fair play???

It was a good game, I don't have anything to whine about. UK missed tons of open 3s that teams usually make against us, otherwise we lose by 6-10 points.
