ok, here's my take...its the bama fans...they have a lways been a delirious type, and never really too reasonable...they yell things like "we got yer old coach!!wooo!!!" and "LSU's goin back down! bahma's on thee rise agin!"...you see my friend, shite like that pisses me off..not saban,he can do whatever he wants...now maybe he isnt the most personable guy with the media, or maybe he has changes of heart pretty often, or whatever, but i dont have anything against him whatsoever, hes a really good coach and i respect him..i dont respect every decision he makes, but you see where im going with that...so to make it simple, i dislike the amazingly delirious and incredibly senseless comments of most of the bama fanbase...so, anyways, excited for football season?

Quite the contrary...I have never cared less for Saban or Bama right now. My attention is fully on the current LSU team. LSU is bigger than Saban. True, Saban did a great job. Any good coach can be successful at LSU. Excuse me for sayin' it; Idiot! Its not like LSU never had a good team until Saban showed up. I dont resent him at all. I do want us to pound him in November though; no matter who the coach is at Bama.

Saban did great job at LSU and I am glad he came here. I think the hysteria about him is a little over the top, but I prefer Miles. He is more fun, plays to win, has better relationships with high school coaches, seems like a happy family guy, and can keep things interesting with his comments to boosters etc, without being a jerk about it like Spurrier.

Personally I have always hated Bama. Saban as said earlier did a little bit more to the rivalry but it is still Bama. There is one college football team that every fan just hates...well mine is Bama. That is all. It will always be. Nothing will ever change that. Call it obsessed or whatever but it is what it is.

I grew up hating Bama in the 70's and 80's, then Florida became the object of my obsessive hate for a football team in the 90's. Now, it's switched back to Bama.

You do realize who our coach was in that game, don't you? That's right, none other than your Nick Saban.
One thing that frustrates LSU fans is that he has the reputation of being the Greatest. Coach. Ever. and when he lost 45-13 to Georgia, or 31-0 to Bama or barely beats Troy or Oregon St. and loses to UAB, he gets none of the blame. All of the blame goes to the players, just like when ya'll lost to Miss. St. and ULM last year. Shula's players were blamed.
Saban has this aura around him that is simply not reality. Every 8-4 or 9-3 season will be celebrated as being the return of the glory years.
He has fooled you guys.

No worries. Alabama was the best team in the west that year, and had we not been in trouble, we would have went to ATL. Nothing wrong with Saban losing to the better team. However the losses like ULM have to stop. We will see this year.
