Sure it is. It is a widely accepted premise that the less intelligent are better football players. That is because many of the less intelligent play football and are good at it.
Even the most intelligent of football players that are members of teams associated with low academic standard schools would struggle heavily at places like Yale or Princeton and likely not be able to handle the courses.
The absolute scholar players at places like Southern Cal, Ohio State, Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma, A&M, Michigan, etc... would not be able to complete a semester at Ivy Leagues without failing grades.
Even our very smartest are dumb to them.
