I would be surprised if he got past SF and Zona in the early second.

I agree major steal. I would be really impressed with Zona if they got Peterson and Mallet in the first two rounds.

Resorting to blaming an agent... there's a word for this.

3 words....you're an idiot

His agent waited until he felt Malletts arse was in the fire over the last two weeks before he released any type of statement.

At the start of all this crap spewing his agent should have released a statement saying that his client had never failed a drug test while at Arkansas.

Instead, Mallett was set up for suicide by the media at the combine. It went downhill from there.

You are truly an idiot of you do not thing his agent is to blame for some of this.

So he was sitting behind a back up NFL QB.

I'm really hoping he goes to Arizona. I would love to see him in that offense.

Tebow is a starter.

hard to know if this is credible... but Trent Dilfer seemed to think Arizona is going to pick up Marc Bulger and plug in the veteran... not unlike what they tried successfully with Kurt Warner before him

Obviously he's got a great arm and great size, but he isn't a finished product at this point.

No shite. No person is a finished product who is in the NFL draft.

Plus, it is pretty clear he is lacking in the mental capacity department.

Really? Gruden says he is one of the best minds in the draft.

What makes him stupid in your opinion? Probably the fact that he speaks like a black guy sometimes. Right?

Finally, teams are shying away from Petrino QBs.

No they're not. Stop being stupid. Multiple NFL scouts, including people at ESPN have said Mallett had some of the best QB coaching in the game.

Would be a great situation for Mallet in that case.

don't forget Arizona is apparently high on John Skelton. I could actually see them pass on a QB all together.

There are some pretty credible sounding reports out there that indicate Mallett likes the prescription meds. If that's the case, it seems reasonable that he's slipped to where he is.

Did you read the links I posted?

Everything I said was in the link. These are based on mock draft site scouting reporting, not my armchair judgment.

Yeah the meth thing is just a joke. If he were a hardcore meth user, everyone would know. And from my very recent experience in college, cocaine is no longer the most popular recreational drug among people that age. Prescription pain pills, particularly oxycontin, seem more prevalent.

JMO - if they are really picking up Bulger I don't think they take Mallett. There is too much value in the early second round... they might take him or Stanzi in the third round and develop him if they are still there then

And besides most people think Dalton gets picked before Mallett... it is not just an either/or thing... but if it is Dalton probably goes before Mallett

The fact that he often has mental breakdowns that cost his team the game.

Yeah I graduated in '05 and prescription pills were definitely the norm out in the open. Coke is always around but no one talks about it. Way stiffer penalties if you get caught so it's very discreet.

It is what it looked like to me. The response I quoted had no links in it and you presented it in a way that was your opinion.

I find it hilarious thay Arky fans are so adamant on blaming the media, agents, and anyone not named Ryan Mallett for Ryan Mallett's situation. I'm sure he had nothing at all to do with it.

Often?

In 2010 he made more key plays in critical times of the game than not.

Do some research before you go calling someone stupid.
