Only a few weeks ago, Alabama was predicted by many to destroy Michigan and then go on to win the national championship, but how quickly times have changed.

DC retires
Saban retires
OC no longer has a job
DB coach jumps to Georgia
Alabama hires new HC with no SEC experience
Hires almost entirely new offensive staff
Hires almost an entirely new defensive staff
Keeps just two coaches from Saban's staff
Several recruits decommit
Top players jump into portal - Bond, Downs, Proctor, etc... - and more likely joining them
Saban announces he will still have office
New HC says Saban will have 100 percent access to the players

I'm sure there is a plethora of things I could add, but my point is it's just amazing how a team can go from competing for a NC to almost completely being dismantled a few weeks later. This is not a knock of Alabama, but just goes to show how quickly things can change when you least expect.

The reality is this could happen to any of our teams, and as an LSU fan, we know how quickly your team can go from winning a NC to becoming a cellar dweller in no time.

I think it goes to show that we all better enjoy the good times because the bad times could come at any time!
