Who would be on a Mt. Rushmore of the history of your favorite CFB team?

ok, you just don't understand the terrible stretch that LSU suffered immediately before Dinardo. Go back and look at the records (especially in light of LSU's historical success) and then come back to the discussion.
You'll probably have a harder time locating the other pertinent information. Rebuilding recruiting relationships and landing the excellent in state players that were leaving en masse for places like Tennessee and FSU before Dinardo arrived. Landing Kevin Faulk was an enormous moment in modern LSU history.
i remember ... had to (gasp) read about it in magazines ... he was the typical "can't miss" rb prospect ... had a decent college career iirc, and a pretty good career at new england ...

Les Miles (his record and personality personifies LSU)
Billy Cannon (no explanation)
Y.A.Tittle (HOF)
Kevin Faulk (All eyes on 3 putting LSU back on map and cool to stay home)

Korin... I would not say dumpster too quick. Before the visor I remember my dad bringing me to tiger stadium to play the gators because he knew it was a guaranteed win. So better remember sniffing the big can and what it smelled like.

Faulk had perhaps the most remarkable college career of any skill position player to ever play at LSU.
quote:
An All-American and a three-time All-SEC selection, Kevin Faulk finished his career as LSU’s all-time leading rusher while breaking a plethora of other LSU and SEC marks ... Held 17 LSU and SEC records ... Rushed for 4,557 yards and 46 touchdowns in his career ... Finished fourth in NCAA history and first in SEC history with 6,833 all-purpose yards ... SEC record was previously held by Georgia legend Hershel Walker ... Had 53 total touchdowns ... Spurned an opportunity to enter the NFL Draft after his junior season to stay on for his senior year

Bear Bryant, Nick Saban, Derrick Thomas, AJ McCarron
Lot of guys could have had that fourth spot. Went with AJ because he's a QB.
We can list coaches, right? If we can't, Bear was a player, while not bad, he wasn't as good a player as he was a coach.

Jack Youngblood may be the biggest hardass in NFL history. He was a crazy son of a bitch.

That he was.
Quote: One of the athletic feats for which Youngblood is best known, is that of playing the entire 1979 playoffs, including Super Bowl XIV, with a fractured left fibula.[24] He also played in the 1980 Pro Bowl with the injured leg, a week after the Super Bowl.
A broken leg!! Jeez
