How does Ford Plantation make you country? Maybe cuz it's in a small lil country town called Richmond Hill, GA. John Smoltz does own a house in the Ford Plantation btw. Keep chirpin...

JFC. You act like I don't know what you are talking about. Reading comprehension is not your thing. Not that I'm shocked. Richmond Hill is a bedroom community of Savannah. If you said you were from Pembroke you might have a point. I know that Smoltz has a house there. I said he doesn't "live there." Try to keep up.

We don't have to make huge improvements on offense by the way.

I think we averaged like 19 per game on O and gave up 21 points per game on D. A small change will help a great deal.

We aren't winning the East but we don't need to have a UG offense to be much better.

Therefore he still has 3 big east titles.

Even if they did he may have lost to those teams he lost to in the reg.season. He has two not 3. Damn your dumb. I thought you "knew your shite"?

He won 2 and was o-coordinator for 1. Whatever. The man has proven he can win. I know it's the big east. But you got to start somewhere like Meyer at utah..

Technically, he shared two, but it doesn't really make a difference to me. I don't necessarily disagree with you that Jones can coach. But there's no way in hell UT wins the East next year, not under any circumstances (short of Nick Marshall transferring to Rocky Top).

Mauk should be better, as he'll have another year under his belt. Also, I don't think they let Mauk scramble much until they knew they could play James Franklin again in pinch. It is a pretty relevant part of his game.

Mizzou has a chance to be pretty good next year, but I think it is going to be largely dependent on how the secondary plays and what kind of production we can expect from receivers not named DGB.

I think Georgia and SC both take a step back while Fla and Tenn take a step forward. Kentucky is starting to look a lot better and should be in some really competitive games, but I can't say the same for Vandy. It isn't the loss of James Franklin, but rather the way he left the program just gutting that recruiting class that is going to hurt. I wouldn't be surprised for everyone but vandy to go bowling.

I'm looking at something like this...
MU/SC/GA
Tenn/Fla
KY
Vandy

We need fewer injuries. That's what we need more than anything.

We'll be fine at corner. We've recruited really well there.

1) fired unless the offensive production has increased dramatically. (top 50)
2) fired - no UF coach should start his career 0-4 vs. UG. There's too much talent in Florida for that to happen.

No shyt he doesn't live there. That was so common sense I though I didn't need to explain to you lol... Yeah while he was with the Braves he drove three hours there and back from Richmond Hill, GA lol... I wouldn't expect someone from bum frick hinesville to find Richmond Hill, GA country lol.. Lots of other towns do though.

This is really my only argument. Your offense will need to make huge improvement in production, turnover, and decision-making departments to win the East.

Vast improvement is not necessarily needed to go from 4-8 to 8-4 or 9-3. I don't think anybody expects y'all to finish with a .500 or worse record this year.

My remaining question was mainly whether modest improvement and a 4-5 game turnaround would be enough to save Boom or does he need to win the East?

ETA: I see your answer now.

He won two in two years...Deal with it. You can't take them away if they didn't have a conferecne title game to let there be an out-right winner.

Richt has proven he can win. But not win BIG. He never will either. Butch atleast needs a few more years before being labeled as, "NEVER WILL".

He doesn't necessarily have to win the East as far as I'm concerned.

Going 4 -8 usually does make you bitter.

The winner was determined in the reg.season. Jones lost twice out of two chances.

They award them for finishing all the same record. They don't have a conference title game. Deal with it. They all have a claim of the big east title. Truth hurts..

The top three teams beat each other once. No way to award the title moron.
