If he lied to Jeff Long and said he was alone I can see a firing. I don't think Jeff Long would risk his AD job covering something like this up.

Thing is, Arkansas never had anything in football, so they'll hold on to something as long they can, even if he is a nutt.

You really think they would fire him? I don't believe it the way he's loved there.

unless there are some provable illecit details, he'll keep his job. bobby p. can apologize, his family can stand beside him in a heartfelt press conference, u of ark can spin.

I just don't get a good feeling. All of our best coaches have parted under crazy circumstances. Nolan, Sutton, Hatfield, Holtz. This would just add to the messed up stories of those tenures.

Inside sources told me they are looking at Gene Chiz

That would be a Mullet nation wet dream. Not happening. Why would Chizik leave Auburn for Fayettenam? Please. That makes as much sense as Chizik going to Starkvegas.

Tuberville makes serious sense and would be a major pain in the arse for Auburn. He is a good coach, has winning SEC experience and has a history of beating Alabama. Arky has the talent. Tubbs would be a great fit. The problem I have is that I would have a problem rooting against him because I think Tubbs did a great job at Auburn.

no need, he wins enough.

had this been a mediocre coach on the hot seat you'd already have his text messages from the last decade.

Did he get the hurt neck in the wreck, or when his wife read the police report.
