I haven't been active here long, but Kraven seems like a solid troll. I read his posts as less homer-ish and more just trolling. And Phil. I mean, really? Phat Phil? That doesn't scream self-deprecating humor to you?

See previous post. If largely your sole purpose is "trolling" you are not a "realistic poster"... It's like the guy who is sarcastic all the time, and then you're expected to magically know when they're being serious. It certainly *could* be, but given that the internet is a poor avenue for sarcasm/subtle humor, just not sure you get the benefit of the doubt. I'm not saying they're not entertaining... and I don't even take them seriously at any level... but it doesn't make them "realistic" either.

The origination of this conversation was more about homers vs realistic fans. Just because someone is a troll doesn't make them a homer.

We've all got em... It certainly feels like UT has a disproportionate number to the total number of *posts* (not necessarily posters).
Also, re trolls vs. homers... I mean Phil's posts are literally homer posts... whether he believes them or not is obviously up for debate... If Phil is actually an alter of another fanbase though, that would be one of the all time long cons in internet history... that would really make me happy.
