Who will be the first team to hire an NFL General Manager?

As the college game morphs into NFL lite, the actual head coach will become less influential. The GM will assemble the team within the school’ NIL budget. Recruiting will be more transactional than relational.

I actually think that big money (Nike, Addidas, Gatorade or Sports Agencies) will become national “collectives” and trick kids into bad future earnings deals, but I digress.
