Bruhhhhhhh. I never thought to use a keyboard. Maybe all we had was a keyboard with a PS/2 connector and not usb. I don’t remember.
I could only ever get through the SEC rosters before amphetamines wore off.

I'd buy a nice USB keyboard at Walmart and then return it a couple of weeks later.

Damn. Y'all had it tough. All I've had to do is enter a dude's username and hit download.

This was back in 2001 and 2002. It wasn't bad though because I'd be out of school for the summer.
I guess you're too young to remember Bill Walsh CFB on Sega Genesis where they couldn't even use real school names for a lot of teams.
Until this bad boy had every single 1A team.

I’ll never forget the wait at school knowing my mom had bought me the first ever Bill Walsh and had it at home for me once school ended. Longest and best day ever. I absolutely crushed folks with Arizona and Colorado on that game.

The struggle was serious bro.
-Plug Action Replay USB into PC
-Go to, I think, GameFaqs.com (or maybe OS existed in 2006? I don’t recall)
-Download file to USB
-Plug Usb into PS2.
-Put in AR disc.
-Move file to PS2 memory card
-Fire up MVP/NCAA
-Pray you didn’t frick up
-If you fricked up, blame the nerd on GameFaqs.

I played the shite out of Sega's too. It had full licensing and even all the fight songs.
Sony had one on PS1 that was 3D before EA did it with NCAA.
But I got EA's instead for obvious reasons.

The landmark things I remember were
- the first game that had all the D1 teams
- the first game that had actual stadiums
- the first game that had all the fight songs
- the first game that had jersey brands (1999 maybe?)
- the first game that had full on recruiting
- the first game that let you change conferences
Also remember loving when they put in the various songs for situations. I downloaded all those songs for all the SEC teams. Cowbells at State, Chinese bandits at LSU, etc.

Had a lot of fun with 2K2 on Dreamcast. First one I was able to play online.

I had both. My parents had divorced and I ended up with EA at my mom’s house and Game Breaker at my dad’s.

I still have the PS3 and NCAA 2014. I guess I could nut up and spend a few bucks on ‘15. That was the last one, yeah?
I easily get nostalgic over video games. I’m ready to download some emulators and find the old shite to play on my laptop.

14 is the last one I believe. It’s not bad but just a far cry from the heyday of EA sports games from 02-07
