I'm not trying to flame, but I want to ask you your opinion on LSU's situation since you watched the whole game yesterday.

First one:

quote:

You were capable of punting repeatedly and having that famous LSU luck at the end (the debbill is going to cash in this policy soon). Even the devil can't help you against Florida.

Did you watch the first half? How many times were we were in the red zone? If anyone was lucky, it was UGA for the score not being 17-0 at the end of the 1st half. But spin it how you want to spin it.

And it's funny OM fans talking about our O when your offense isn't lighting the world on fire either. At least our offense wasn't expected to do awesome excluding the LSU fans' perceptions. National pundits had yall's offense clicking on all cylinders to start the year. Snead on cover of SI, etc. It hasn't happened YET.

quote:

Your offense stinks and your defense is suspect. Don't mistake the fact that Joe Cox couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with the football as great defense.

Another question: You couldn't beat USC after they beat you last year. I don't see how OM could overlook their team with the previous year's results.

Do you honestly think OM could waltz into Athens, which is a harder environment to play in than Columbia, and do any better than LSU?

I've been pretty objective dealing with OM this year, and I still think OM should go 10-2, but constantly blasting LSU when they do something that your team couldn't accomplish against a lesser team is laughable.

no you are spinning it to make your first half appear more dominant than it was...the fact of the matter was...while u controlled TOP...UGA made the plays necessary in the 1st half (the INT and the 4th down stop) to keep the score close

Those were plays UGA made that kept u guys from running away with it...not the other way around..UGA had something to do with the 1st half score.

I thought TOP was an important part of the game. The score at the VERY LEAST should have been9-0. You gonna spin that? The point is that both teams were fortunate with some of the things that transpired in the game, but LSU beat them. END OF STORY.

No you're not. FLA should win, and as of right now, I would pick FLA over LSU with/without Tebow.

LSU is a team coming into its own but did not look head and shoulders above Georgia yesterday. Our defense played well overall but we could not run the ball at all which was the biggest difference in the game: LSU had 156 rushing yards, Georgia had 45. The Tigers loaded the box and challenged Cox to beat them with his arm and he could not meet the challenge.

If LSU plays the same defense vs Florida then I have a feeling there will be a different result. Also, Florida's defense is considerably better than the Dawg D so I think LSU will be hard pressed to move the ball. The Tigers scored 20 points against a mediocre Georgia defense. I think they will need more points vs Florida.

But every game is different because of key match-ups and sheer fortune so I can see where LSU could upset the Gators but I'm not expecting it.

I think they have a decent shot. Even if Tebow plays, I really don't see how UF will be able to run the same offense they usually do. There's no way they can have him carry the ball 20 times while recovering from a concussion.

I would be pleasantly surprised if LSU were to beat UF.

Saturday Night in Tiger Stadium gives the tigers some advantage. Night games in Death Valley are magical.

I think it's going to be a close game. JJ apparently does not want the ball in his hands in a game winning situation. So we will see.
