PPeterson: you are probably right about the host spots. Maybe half the sixteen spots will be SEC teams, up to four national seeds, I think.

Swept #14 at the time on the road and run ruled all 3 games against Mizz…even if it is Mizz, it’s still SEC competition and pretty impressive. Think it comes down to the rubber match and Arky pulls it out 2-1. Texas at home and LSU in BR are going to be tough…Arky will probably lose at least one if not both of those series

No prediction for Tenner C series?
or Aggie?

As long as D-Bag is the coach at Tenner they will always be Tenner…so unpredictable it’s hard to even think about logically/statisticly. They may win the NC and they may not win another series. A&M has lost 3 OOC games and got swept by Vandy…if their bats stay hot/consistent for a couple series in a row, then they will be a concern

So no, no prediction at this point. But Texas, LSU and Arky seem to be playing the most consistent all around ball at this point

#2 Texas swept Mizz but only run ruled them once…so yeah most people that understand baseball realize that run ruling and D1 team three games in a row (double header Sunday) is pretty impressive

Arkansas is supposed to get a key pitcher back this weekend in Gage Wood. Will be interesting to see how much he is involved in the series. He has 13 K's in only 7 IP this season. He is a big strikeout guy. 111 K's in 77 IP in his career. So that could be something to watch.

Wood is traveling this weekend, but he won't be on the active roster, per DVH.

Probably back on the active roster next weekend depending on how he recovers from his bullpen session this weekend.

I'm ignorant on how this works, why is he traveling if there's no chance he's playing? I know that happens with football but with those rosters being so huge you can absorb one worthless spot but baseball seems like it'd be much tighter

don't see anyone beating arky right now. Then again I said the same about Georgia. So many great teams in the SEC it's hard to know who's best week to week.

All three Mizzou games were 7 innings.

Yea I read that a bit ago. Probably means he had some soreness lingering.

Georgia will sweep us; we're due for some humble pie.
