Idk about other Auburn fans but I'm a Birmingham native with many friends and family who have UAB degrees, I've had friends on the team, and I went to my first UAB game in 97 or 98. My interest in UAB is legit.

Exactly why I don’t like them as Floridian. I’ve never met anyone who went to school there. I remember growing up in the early 2000’s Miami had fans all over the state like FSU, and Florida, then they all disappeared. FSU and Florida both have gone through slumps since but at least most their fans still remain. Miami is a lil bro fan base who wants to be more like FSU and UF.

The school itself seems pretty normal.
You got the rich preppy kids from outta state going to Coral Gables. And the sidewalk fans from Dade county rocking Trick Daddy and Rick Ross T Shirts.

The severe delusion that runs rampant throughout the ULL fanbase never ceases to amaze me. Living in Louisiana, they refer to themselves as either "UL" or "Louisiana" despite having literally zero claim to it.
