I have lived most of my life in Georgia, and most of my friends are UGA fans, so I like UGA ok, and Florida too.

Good thread. It proves a very significant point regarding fandom in general. Notice how few, if any, posters consider Alabama a 2nd favorite team. Like Kentucky basketball, if you're not for the perennial front-runner, you generally dislike them....why? Because they're always beating your team?...because they enjoy a degree of respect (fear) that your team doesn't? There are many more reasons, to numerous to name, but the thread does bring the point home very clearly.

Georgia. East team that plays Auburn every year. I also live in Columbus so the shared rivalry bond with Auburn helps.

I used to like several SEC programs: my momma is from huntsville; so i grew up with lots of tide influence. Liked florida, tennessee, georgia programs growing up. I have family in Arkansas and met lots of great people playing ball in college station back in the day. But, as others have mentioned, between joining the SEC and this board, its pretty difficult to find much love for any other school anymore. MIZ!

I always loved Knoxville and the fans for TN. Its a plus that we don't see them on a regular basis but I like TN.
