It has been floated out there that Billy will keep his job if he goes 7-5, so I want to know who is going to take one for the team. He has to beat FSU or he is gone, so that will be 5 wins and he needs another 2 from this group.

Georgia
Texas
LSU
Ole Miss

So who is it gonna be?

Georgia?
Kirby is friends with Billy and may do him a solid. He can probably run the table and still get in the playoffs without having to play in the SECCG which might be a bonus. But Kirby hates UF, so probably not.

Texas?
Texas hasn't been hitting on all cylinders, and if Georgia waxes Florida, Texas might show up unprepared for the game with UF. But Texas has an off week before the game, so probably not.

LSU?
LSU never takes Florida for granted, but they have Bama the week before, so they are either going to be coming off a big win or loss. LSU is going to take one for the team.

Ole Miss?
Ole Miss plays Georgia the week before Florida, so they are already going to be out of the playoffs. Also if they lose to UF, UF will probably not hire Lane. Ole Miss is going to take one for the team.

frick you LSU and Ole Miss for making us keep Billy!

You can bet your trailer on it.

My preference would be Georgia and Ole Miss. Make it happen.

So it is basically going to come down to Lane. If he wants to remain at Ole Miss he needs to lose to Florida. If he beats Florida, that means he really wants to coach for the Gators.

I think LSU wins convincingly but man the melt here would be historical if they lose to Sun Belt Billy, especially if the they beat Bama the week before and are hanging onto a fringe playoff hope coming into the game.

Watch it happen. Then we get trounced by 28 points in the fricking weedwacker bowl.

It would be vintage Brian Kelly, so I'm expecting it to happen.

Pretty simple, schedule shitty opponents.

fcs Samford is 3-4
Miss state 1-7 on a 7 game skid
UCF 3-5 on a 5 game skid, just fired their DC
UK 3-5 on a 3 game skid

UCF and UK in particular, many have noted, it seems like the players have quit on the coaches, and with UK maybe Stoops is mailing it in a bit.

Certain segment of Gator nation thinks that beating UK by 4 TDs means we'll split UGA-TX (I kid you not) but reality will hit hard when UGA wins by 3-4 TDs tomorrow afternoon.

Well, just put in a mobile QB against LSU and I'm sure they will shite themselves.

I think it was Brett McMurphy who projected us to play in the Gaspairlla Bowl against Michigan State.

The Gasparilla Bowl, when we last played there, was where the Gus Bus ran over Emory Jones.

And Michigan State is coached by Jonathan Smith, who Sun Belt Billy got acquainted with in Las Vegas 2 years ago
