So you're telling me that Louisiana Lafayette, Western Kentucky, & Toledo are tougher opponents than UNC? Dafuq?

Lately? Yes.
I only put Western Kentucky because that's where Bobby Petrino landed.
(P.S. UNC has truly sucked for a while.)

Clearly Vanderbilt has the hardest season opener.

I really think this is an Ole Miss fan trolling.
Bingo we have a winner.

LSU vs TCU should be very competitive
LSU could be playing Southern and it would be competitive.

Don't understand where the Clemson game comes in as the toughest. UGA vs. Clem is going to end up exactly like Bama vs. Clem in 08 where every one is kissing Clemsons arse until the blowout happens leaving all the taters standing around scratching their heads. Oklahoma St. is by far the toughest.

MSU never has a problem with momentum, it's when they play a quality opponent that they fail to maintain it.

IMO Ok State is better than TCU.

I don't see any other teams playing anyone as strong as Okalahoma State in their first game of the season.
UGA.

It will prep MSU for what we will be seeing all year.
They ranked 4 in total offense. Return 8 on that offense that put up over 550 yards per game...
Defense is where we have to improve the most.

Actually, South Carolina vs North Carolina ... I'd put UNC above Okie State plus I'd add the emotion of the two programs be close to one another and it being a 100 year old border war.

I might rearrange your list a bit :
Vandy @ Ole Miss - SEC opener means 1 team is down a game early
UGA @ Clemson - the @ Clemson is the issue here
Bama vs VT in Atlanta - Well it will be a tough game for VPI
Miss State vs OK State in Houston - Could be close and could be a blowout the farther Gundy gets from Weeden
Auburn vs Wash State - New coach and the Pirate could be tough for Tigers
LSU vs TCU in Arlington - TCU is not as good in a better conference and LSU should be hungry but Horned Frogs could give the Tigers a game
USC vs UNC - Cocks should win but it is a border war
UK vs WKU in Nashville - This may be at the top of the list if we are just looking at is in the eyes of the SEC team playing
Tthe rest should be easy wins over lesser schools
UAF vs Louisiana Lafayette
UF vs Toledo
Mizzou vs Murray State
UT vs Austin Peay
A&M vs Rice
