A&M OL is better, no questions.
Whoa skipper. I think it's much closer than you think based on what I saw Saturday.
quote:
QB - A&M
Obvious.
quote:
RB - we definitely have the depth and talent but its too early to tell, I'd say its even for now

quote:
WR - Evans is the best of the group. your two guys are proven, RSJ showed serious potential but too early to say. I could give this one to LSU even though I feel we will surpass them.
Landry is a top 3 WR in the SEC and will be a 1st rounder. And Odell is obviously getting drafted. There's more, but that's the top 2 guys right now.
quote:
TE - probly LSU
Yea
quote:
FB - I don't even think we use one?
Copeland will 100% be drafted.

It's actually a compliment
Being put in the same subject line as LSU when it comes to offense is not a compliment is it an insult.
A more acceptable question would be "Who has more talent in the backfield? LSU or aTm? And as of right now i would give you corndogs the nod.
But please dont go full retard and even think your WRs, QB, or O-line are better than ours, its not even questionable. Mike Evans is better than your top 3 receivers. and RSJ will be just as good.
Cling to your "we have an awesome defense" because that is true. Dont brag about your offense and dont you dare insult us by comparing it to the best offense in the SEC.
GTFO.

LSU has some real talent at WR and OL, no doubt. Just not as much as A&M. A&M scored 52 points and honestly it wasn't really a great performance.
It is very possible if not likely that all 5 of the A&M starting OL go in the first 3 rounds with at least 2 going 1st Round. They had kind of an "off" game against Rice and still A&M had positive yardage on 63 of 66 plays.
A&M's WR corps is deep and talented. RSJ isn't even technically a starter and he had a 70 yard plus TD in his 1st game. Evans had a ho hum game and still scored 2 TD's. Then you have at least 5 guys as well who will get the ball regularly.
RB's are honestly about a wash. Both teams have multiple guys with power and speed that can average 5 yards plus per rush just about every game.
QB is a joke to compare unless we are talking Mett vs Matt Joekel. I know it was thrilling for LSU fans that Mett threw for 251 yards completing an awesome 50% of his throws and 1 TD but even Joekel went 14-19 for 190 with a TD in 1 half of football (while JFF had 3 TD's in 8 throws).
Defensively? LSU is the better team right now, no debate.

A&M
All five of our starting O-linemen will be drafted at some point. Manziel, Mike Evans, Ben Malena, Trey Williams, Brandon Williams, Tre Carson, RSJ, etc.

I think A&M is better at RB then some of you think. 4th stringer had 6 yards a carry, over 80 yards and 2 TDs playing in a spread offense.
